Danny Morgan (politician)
Danny Morgan is a Democratic politician from the U.S. state of Oklahoma. Morgan served as Minority Leader of the Oklahoma House of Representatives from 2006 to 2010.〔(Departing Oklahoma representatives ), ''The Oklahoman'', June 24, 2012.〕 He also served as the mayor of Prague, Oklahoma.
==Early life==
Morgan was born and raised in Prague, Oklahoma and graduated from Prague High School. He graduated from Central State University in Edmond with a bachelor's degree in business administration.〔(Representative Danny Morgan ), (Project Vote Smart ). Accessed August 16, 2012.〕 Following graduation, he went to work in the oilfield as a truck driver and field supervisor, which led him to found Morgan Well Service.
Morgan served as the mayor of Prague, Oklahoma, a board member of the Prague Municipal Hospital and chair of the Lincoln County Excise Board. He also served as a committee vice chair of the Last Frontier Council of the Boy Scouts of America and is a past board member of the Girl Scouts of the USA Redlands Council. He is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma – Class XVII.
